These are Key Operational Policies

Most staff frontline or support staff will not need the same depth of policies knowledge as management staff. Staff facing policies should be kept simple and succinct to get across basic principles, and can be supplemented with focused training on identified areas as required. By operational Policies we mean staff-centric policies that direct staff in daily frontline activities. Using these will demonstrate that you have met the core requirements for keeping staff appraised of essential policies and processes required for a safe, efficient and caring service.

The policies here are not the same as "Policies for Management", which you should already have. Policies for Management are the policies necessary to run the organisation, and in addition to instructions directed at staff members, will also contain additional guidance for managers and the leadership, together with references to legislation and more complex protocols.
